Mining should not be banned for these reasons:

1. The West Coast is all for mining this was proven by 500 West Coast miners turning up that had lost their jobs.
2. Mining in New Zealand is an important part of the economy being valued at $1.5B/year, excluding petroleum (Crown Minerals 2007). Mining has been part of New Zealand's history since the 1800s and produces gold, coal, aggregates, industrial minerals, limestone and iron sands. However, mining can have significant impacts on the environment; therefore mining must be managed in a way to minimise those impacts and ensure environmental . so for these reasons mining in the west coast should not be banned. This government is the worst.

Carter looked up. His face was red and his neck was puffing up. His body was starting to grow. His pants and top were ripping he is hulk. His veins are pop like eels.

 Everyone runs and  Carter destroyed the whole  City.  He used his Hulk powers and shot green goo out of his eyeballs. Stomps on buildings and smashes walls and trucks and cars. He is out of control.

What do we do now? We run.  The whole world is destroyed Hulk smashed all the buildings but 3 building stayed up the army tries to kill Hulk but they can't so the army and Airforce and the navy try to kill Hulk but they still can't so the doodle comes in with an AK47 and shoot the Hulk   down but the Hulk got back up and he was a Good Guy.

Reed Council funding of required earthquake strengthening works to the Left Bank Art Gallery building

Kia ora, My name is Reed and I am writing to you about the council funding of the strengthening works for the Left Bank Gallery. I am supporting option (choose the correct one) Option 1 To temporarily suspend the lease and fund the required earthquake strengthening works on the building to bring it to a minimum of 34% NBS. I want to save the building. So people and tourists can see a historic building. $330,000 is about how much a house costs. This is like a house for art that everyone can go to. Save it because it is an awesome building. Why do we keep losing so many buildings in Greymouth? If we keep doing it there will be no Greymouth left. Please save this building.

the drums

The drums are instrument that make the beet in a band. Parts of the drums are bass drum, snare, cymbal and floor tom. Drums sound really cool and you need drum sticks. If you want to listen to a great drummer listen to Led Zeppelin . Drums are a really cool instrument . I reckon you should play the drums because thea are a really cool instrument. Plus they sound really cool. I play the drums because they are good to play you can play any beat on the drums that you want to play. Lots of people play the drums I like the drums because they are awesome. ` How to get into drumming, go to your local drum lesson teacher and start playing. You can watch youtube to learn how to play the drums and Jeremy in greymouth Cobden does drums lessons. If you get pro you can play in gigs and bands and teach people and be famous, so get out there and sturt playing because it is pretty cool.

camp Recount

On Thursday I went on my school camp. I was so excited that I ate my breakfast as fast as lightning so mum had time to go into subway to get my lunch. When we first got to school we had a meeting to see which cars we were going in. I travelled with Rhys ,Jacob and Rhys mum Julie. Our first stop was at Ross where we had a toilet stop. Then we drove to Okarito. We went on a walk to a look out. At the top of the look out there were big rimu trees blocking some of the view. When you steered really hard you could see the big valley below. The bush walk was super fun. I heard the Kea’s in the trees. A kea flew out of one tree and landed on a big branch of another tree. At the bottom of the track we had our morning tea. After that we went to Franz Josef Glacier to do the glacier walk. At the top we saw big blanket of snow. It was awesome. When we finished the walk I was so tired . It was the coolest thing I have ever been on. We stayed at the top 10 Holiday Park in Fox Glacier. We had heaps of fun playing games at night. That night we had a disco and we also played spotlight in bed. And I got the top bunk. We did not get much sleep because some kids in the bunk room kept talking . On Friday we went to the Kiwi centre in Franz where we saw two live kiwis running around like crazy cheetahs. Then after that we went to the hot pools with my friends. I went in the 40 degrees C pool. When we were going back to school I was so tired that I could sleep for 2 years. My camp rocked.

Moment In Time - Street Racing

WALT: Describe a moment in time in detail.

I heard the engine in front of me. It sounded like 5000000000 elephants running on the  street, STOMP, BANG ,ROAR!  I heard the screeching on the concrete from the tyres.

I saw the smoke around the car. The colour of the smoke  was white I saw the black  tyres marks on the  concrete.

I felt awesome because it was the coolest thing in the world.

I could do this for hours. One day i want to have a Formula One car.

I wondered if i could do the biggest drift in the world.

I am In the RIO 2016 Olympics games.I  line up at the starting line 321 go we  were off .The Men's running  finally  started the finishing line was getting closer I won. My heart is racing. Then the medal ceremony  was on I was Nervous then they called my name  I went up they gave me a gold medal.
